We had a delightful stay at a charming hotel in the heart of the city. The nautical-themed decor added a unique touch to the ambiance. The room was clean and spacious, and the breakfast offered a delicious start to our day. Additionally, the hotel provided a complimentary evening meal, which was a pleasant surprise. Despite being located near a main road, the noise was bearable and did not disturb our rest. The location was convenient for exploring the coastal town of Arendal. we highly recommend this hotel for its cozy atmosphere and friendly service.

marco polo, set within 10 minutes' walk, was the best for dining. wi fi worked throughout the property. it took 10 minutes to reach bystranda on foot. we loved the fact that we chose arendal maritime.

Central location for the music festival, shops and harbour. Liked the Sony LCD TV in our room. We asked for a quiet room away from the main road and we were given one. Good breakfast for a 3 star hotel.

Situated on a road with (sometimes heavy) traffic. Would have been nice with tea/coffee making facilities in the room, however reception said they could boil water for us so that was nice. The parking situation could be better, eg. discounted or free parking in the carpark. Otherwise there is free street parking betw 16:00 - 08:00

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, right in the center and close to the harbor. The room was incredibly comfortable and clean, with all the amenities I needed, including ironing facilities and a mini-bar. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and they even offered me a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival. I appreciated the attention to detail, such as the in-room safe and the hairdryer in the bathroom. The hotel also had a lovely garden area with comfortable garden furniture, where I could relax and soak up the peaceful atmosphere. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from.

This is a great hotel for families, I highly recommend it for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The receptionist welcomed us as if we were long-lost friends, although we were only staying one night. The nautical decor was very well done.

Great location in the heart of the town center, perfect for exploring and going out in the evening. Friendly and helpful staff who provided excellent service. The breakfast and evening soup options were delicious and a nice addition to the stay.

The single room was quite small and lacked adequate space to unpack or keep clothing. The shower was a bit difficult to use without flooding the bathroom.

The location of Grand Hotel in Arendal was perfect for exploring the area. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the interior had a unique charm. Despite a few minor issues, our stay was enjoyable overall. I would recommend this hotel for a short visit.

You feel like you are on a boat- fun interior

I think we got the smallest room. From our window we saw the very ugly backcourt and it smelled, because the aircondition from the kitchen led there. Everythging was dusty and my pillow even had fungus on the backside of the bed linen- very disgusting. It lies on a road where a lot of cars pass by....
